Kevin Bartini is a veteran NYC comedian entering his 25th year in show business!  He is a published comedy writer, a classically trained Shakespearean actor and UCB trained improviser.     He was awarded "2003 Club Pick Comic of the Year" by the Las Vegas Comedy Festival and won 2nd Place in the 2011 Gilda's Club Laugh Off Comedy Competition .  
     In 2008 he was discovered by Jon Stewart and hired to warm up audiences at both the Daily Show with Jon Stewart and The Colbert Report.  In the next eight years he would go on to be
come one of the most successful  TV Audience Warm-Up comics in TV, at last count he has done warm-up for nearly thirty productions!

     Long before becoming a comedian, Kevin toiled the boards in high-school, community, and summer stock theater.  He returned to the theater after over a decade in stand up, starring in a national tour of You Say Tomato, I Say Shut Up , followed up by four off-Broadway productions.
     His on camera credits include multiple episodes of ABC's hidden camera show What Would You Do? as well as the recurring roll of Billy Jones on The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.  Look out for him later this summer on HBO's And Just Like That.

Details -  Hone in on your comedic voice and develop original, funny material amongst a limited group of fellow comedians.   Each participants has a chance to showcase some new or old material. 
        Kevin's expansive blend of professional experiences as a writer, comedian, actor, and producer  have given him a uniq
ue insight.  HE can take a bit, or a premise, explain what is funny, why it's funny and how to mold that idea into a bit.  Kevin is articulate, knowledgeable and easy to work with.  
  
     Sessions are held online, each session 90 to 120 minutes, depending on the number of students, and is spent writing and honing material, discussing comedic theory and giving and receiving notes.  

     Here's the thing, Kevin is a working comedian and a total night owl.  He is based in NYC so sessions are held late afternoons (3pm-7pm) EST and late nights (12am-4am) EST.    Scheduling is based around Kevin's TV and comedy club schedule.
